Videogame Legislation

Read this:

http://www.igda.org/sex/archives/2006/04/more_on_the_har.html

Anyone else catch it? Every time any of this bogus legislation goes anywhere higher than these crazies talking to the media it gets shot down. The industry is working on those states that have actually passed laws like this through.

Look, I know children are not the same as adults in the eyes of the law, but just because they can't vote doesn't mean a few activist nut-balls get to pee all over the Constitution. Yes, there are bad things in this world and they really do suck. Why not work on starvation and cancer and then work on images in entertainment?

I am getting real sick of this "think of the children" battle cry. Yes, I am against all the censorship and legislation and YES I am thinking of the children. I am thinking of them in 15 years when they start asking why they are being treated like second-class citizens that can't think on their own.
